The Port of Rotterdam Authority (HbR) is one of the leading road authorities in the Netherlands with its vision and set-up of the management of the road assets in its area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The special 430-kilometre road area in the Rotterdam port area is characterised by particularly heavily loaded road pavements, which are subject to high demands in terms of availability, operational reliability, predictability, quality and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
HbR works continuously to improve the balance between costs, performance and risks of its assets and wants to make the transition to data-driven asset management, starting with the paving discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
&NBSP; commissioned HbR from its vision of managing life-cycle data of road pavements and the application of digital twins for asset management to draw up a roadmap for HbR's transition to data-driven road management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
